Both squads have still had their fair share of battles this season with the Bengals losing each game versus playoff powered squads and the Texans having considerable accidents to quarterbacks Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart. Both quarterbacks were lost for the season with their accidents and rookie T.J. Yates has gotten control. Houston has also viewed big accidents to linebacker Mario Williams and wide receiver Andre Johnson. The two squads have already faced one another during the regular season and the Texans made a last effort return attempt with a match winning touchdown pass captured by wide receiver Kevin Walters with just a few seconds left on the clock.

The Bengals are going to have to try and stay with what has worked for them this year which has been their impressive run game with running backs Cedric Benson and Bernard Scott. If they can accomplish this they may have the advantage and finally wipe out a playoff squad and progress past the 1st round for the 1st time in just over 20 years.
This might come down to the wire yet again as it’s going to be a near one. Despite a number of accidents to several essential celebrity competitors, the Texans are minor faves. The over/under for total total points for this particular game is 38. The line is established with the Texans as 3 point faves at their home field to the long shot Bengals.
